For her it is a time to celebrate female composers, directors and musicians who have changed the face of music throughout the years.
Her goal is to instill a love of music into her kids in class and show them they can use these skills to be successful in any venture in life.

Women's history month is important to identify women who have worked hard and broken down barriers for future generations. We, as women, need to continue to do so.

On this International Women’s Day let us recognize the profound impact of empowered women who, through their strength, resilience and unwavering determination, shaped the world around them. Women’s History Month is not just a celebration, it is a tribute to the countless achievements and contributions made by women across all spheres of life. Let us stand together, acknowledging the power within each and every woman and continue fostering an environment where equality thrives. Happy Women’s Month to the trailblazers, the change makers and the architects of a more inclusive future. Let us celebrate all women from all walks of life!

Women's History Month holds profound significance for me as a mother of two girls. It serves as a powerful reminder of the strides women have made throughout history, highlighting the remarkable achievements, contributions, and resilience of women in shaping the world we live in today. As a mother, this month provides an invaluable opportunity to instill in my daughters a sense of pride in their gender and a deep appreciation for the women who have paved the way for them. It's a chance to celebrate the diverse stories of women from all walks of life, showcasing the strength, intelligence, and determination that have fueled progress. Women's History Month serves as a call to action for me as a parent. It encourages me to actively engage in conversations with my daughters about the challenges women have faced and continue to face, fostering a sense of empathy and a commitment to creating a more equitable future. I want my girls to be inspired by the stories of trailblazers, learn from the struggles of those who fought for women's rights, and feel empowered to pursue their dreams without limitations. Ultimately, Women's History Month is a time for reflection, education, and empowerment in our household. It's about nurturing a spirit of resilience, encouraging my daughters to embrace their unique qualities, and fostering a belief that they can contribute meaningfully to the ongoing narrative of women's history.

To me Women's History Month means taking the time to recognize the achievements, and hardships women in U.S. have fought for. acknowledging the suffragettes who fought for women’s rights and the vote. It's also a time to learn about women who have made incredible bounds, whom we might not be aware of; a learning opportunity.
I've been singing since I started lessons at 4 years old. My 15 minutes of fame would be that I've sung the National Anthem twice for the Seattle Seahawks and I got the opportunity to sing for Saint Pope John Paul II at the Vatican in Rome, Italy. I'm very proud and blessed to have been able to have those moments I will never forget.
Mrs. Vickie Evans
At Crisfield High, Mrs. Vickie Evans is a school administrative associate. She has worked at Crisfield High for 16 years and loves every second of it as the students and staff are amazing. She has been married to her husband for 27 years and has 3 adult children. To Mrs. Evans, Women’s History Month means that we have the chance to highlight the accomplishments of other women. It reminds us to be supportive, encouraging, and nurturing of one another not only throughout this month, but all of the time.
Mrs. Grace Gray is a teacher librarian at Crisfield High. To her, Women’s History Month is the chance to appreciate the accomplishments that were made by women that paved the way to the life she leads today. Women can vote, can have a job, and it's all because of women like and unlike her. It is the chance to appreciate strong women.
