It was a day of service yesterday, Saturday, March 18, for a group of CHS students from the National Honor Society and the Leo Club, as they assisted Joe Paden, project manager for the cleanup of Union Asbury Cemetery. The NHS and Leo Club are advised by Mrs. Lindsay Tilghman and Mr. Randy Laird, respectively. The Union Asbury Cemetery is the largest African American cemetery in Crisfield encompassing 3 1/2 acres with over 700 known graves. Great job to all who came out!
