Today, September 29, 2025, Crisfield High School students attended a powerful school-wide assembly organized by our Learning Support Team. The presentation was led by Crystal Young of the The Young Foundation (TYF), an organization dedicated to reducing the stigma around mental health, especially for first responders and their families.
The focus of the assembly was on suicide prevention and awareness. TYF uses lived experiences to encourage open conversations about mental health and to promote transparency, communication, and honesty on this critical topic.
Their mission is not only to reduce crises related to mental health but also to be present and available to assist families in times of need.
We are grateful to Ms. Johnson for bringing this important opportunity to our students. 💙
For any questions or further information, please reach out to Ms. Janae Johnson and our Learning Support Team.
