Attention Seniors and Parents,
A FAFSA event will be held at Crisfield High School on December 10th at 5:00 pm. To attend the event, seniors or parents should sign up with Mrs. Daum by email at fdaum@somerset.k12.md.us
Financial aid advisors from Salisbury University will be presenting a financial aid presentation and assisting students and parents with the Financial Aid application.


Mrs. Amanda Thomas' 9th grade Science classes are currently studying a unit on the planets. This week they made their own using papier mache! Great job!

Tonight we celebrated some amazing students with a dinner and recognition ceremony. These students earned Principal's Roll for the first quarter! We had 127 students earn Principal's Roll for the first quarter! Thank you to all the students for their hard work and effort. And a special thank you to the families of our students who have unwavering support for their student and our school. Thank you for our staff who helped make tonight possible.










Our old but amazing building, rich in history, is kept beautiful by some incredible staff. Mr. Coleman, Mr. Parker, Mr. Kaplan and Mr. Tull work hard to make sure our building stays beautiful each and everyday. They also show support for our students whenever possible, today wearing Green for Mental Health Awareness. Thank you gentlemen for all you do for our students, staff and the school!


Congratulations to our Student of the Week. N. Ford was recognized for being an outstanding student who works hard in each of his classes. He is always respectful to his classmates and staff.
Congratulations to our Staff of the Week, Mr. Duer. Mr. Duer was recognized by his colleagues for always being willing to go the extra mile to make sure his students understand the assignments.

Congratulations to our Athlete of the Week! A. Lane was recognized by his new Indoor Track Coach for helping her prepare for the upcoming season. He helped her locate all the necessary information and equipment so they could get started last Friday! 🦀

Wednesday was World Kindness Day and our fabulous Learning Support had students (during their lunches) write kind messages to some fellow classmates and staff. They had to tell who it was from as well! We have some great students at CAHS! We are proud of all who participated in writing kind notes.











The Boys JV and Varsity soccer teams enjoyed an end of season meal and awards this past week. Thank you to Coach Frock, Coach Zetina, Coach Mills, and all the players for their hard work and dedication this season. Coach Frock announced C. Haynie as the Coaches Choice Award recipient and named R. Holland and O. Tellez Malagon as Co-MVP's for the 2024 season. Congratulations to all our players and coaches. Thank you to all the families who supported our athletes this fall. ⚽️ 🦀






Girls Basketball Coach Greg Bozman Sr. is proud of the scholar athletes who attended the first day of tryouts after school on Friday. After checking on their grade point averages, he was pleased to report their combined GPA is 3.59 on a 4.0 scale. “I know you can retain things,” he said during drills. Assistant Coach is Greg Bozman Jr. Winter sports for all teams start on Thursday, Dec. 5 and the girls will be at Cambridge-South Dorchester. Also, any student who earned Principal's Roll has received an invitation to the Principal's Roll dinner. There is a QR code on the invitation. Five SCPS educators were recently awarded $20,994 in competitive Education Grants from the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES) at the recent Education Grants Award Ceremony hosted at Dove Pointe in Salisbury! Somerset County Health Dept will return to Crisfield High School on
Nov 20th mid-day to administer the Flu shot to anyone who was not
in school on 11-01.
If you would like for your son or daughter to get the flu shot - consents are in the Nurse's Office.
