WES held their annual STEAM night on April 1st. This year's theme centered around space. Families enjoyed science and math activities like building lunar rovers, making slime and creating glow in the dark constellations. Students taste tested and voted for their favorite smoothie created by the cooking and gardening club. They also painted a space scene, shopped at the book fair and enjoyed a delicious dinner. It was an out of this world adventure!

Our Cooking & Gardening Club members are gearing up for some stiff competition at STEAM night this Wednesday. If you’re planning to attend, be prepared to receive a sample and then cast your vote for the tastiest and best presentation. Students will share their knowledge of the fruits and vegetables that were part of their recipe and how they have worked to improve the taste. The battle is on!
